Following the Government announcement on 18th December 2020, our region has been placed in Tier 4. As a consequence of these restrictions, we can only accept business from travellers from all Tiers on essential work, medical, education or caring.
We really look forward to welcoming our guests into a safe environment. However, we will be opening on a Non-Contact and Room Only basis.
Keys and a Welcome Letter will be left in a box on the front doorstep with the guest’s name, room number and welcome letter.
Guests will have access to a microwave, cutlery and crockery for self service of their brought in food or takeaways.
All bedrooms have a table and chairs and an empty minibar fridge for guests to store food.
Please be assured that there will always be a member of staff on the premises for emergency contact or assistance. If guests need assistance, the recommended social distancing rule will be followed throughout our hotel by staff and guests.
A fully comprehensive COVID-19 risk assessment has been completed.
All departments within the hotel have produced detailed Risk Assessments and all our teams have been trained in the new cleanliness standards.
There will be additional cleaning throughout the hotel and doors to public areas will be left open.
We will be offering you a “non-contact” check-in process with all payments and registration being completed prior to your arrival, the same for the check-out process. When you arrive your room key will be waiting for you and you can proceed directly to your room.
Guest will be asked to wash or sanitise their hands before entering public areas
All soft furnishings in bedrooms have been removed. All room literature will be removed. Minibar fridges have been emptied.
Staff will not be entering guest’s bedrooms once guests have checked in unless there is a maintenance issue. The bedroom will be sufficiently stocked for the number of night’s stay however guests can contact Reception if they require fresh towels or additions to the tea tray.
Guest rooms will be vacant for as long as possible in between guests.
Restaurant and Breakfast
The restaurant and kitchen will be closed.
All of our staff have participated in COVID-19 safety and social distancing training.
All of our staff will be tested with a thermometer temperature gun each day.
Where appropriate we are grouping staff into ‘work bubbles’, which will restrict employee interaction.
Staff and guests will have different entrances to the hotel.
