We really look forward to welcoming our guests into a safe environment, both our front and back of house teams are committed to upholding the highest hygiene standards possible. Staying safe and maintaining social distancing will be at the core of everything we do.
All departments within the hotel have produced detailed Risk Assessments and all our teams have been trained in the new cleanliness standards.
A fully comprehensive COVID-19 risk assessment has been completed.
The recommended social distancing rule will be followed throughout our hotel by staff and guests and our tables will be adhering to a 2m distancing policy.
There will be additional cleaning throughout the hotel and doors to public areas will be left open.
Guests will have less contact time with staff however there will always be someone here to assist guests.
We will be offering you a “non-contact” check-in process with all payments and registration being completed prior to your arrival, the same for the check-out process. When you arrive your room key will be waiting for you and you can proceed directly to your room.
All guests will be requested to pay for extra products at point of sale. VAT receipts will be emailed to guests to assist express non contact check out.
Guest will be asked to wash or sanitise their hands before entering public areas.
Each guest will be given their own set of disposable menus to take to their rooms. All meal times will be table reservation only – this includes breakfast – and we politely request that guests arrive on time for their restaurant reservations in order to manage social distancing.
All soft furnishings in bedrooms have been removed. All room literature will be removed. Minibar fridges have been emptied however guests can contact Reception for any items to be brought to their room.
Staff will not be entering guest’s bedrooms once guests have checked in unless there is a maintenance issue. The bedroom will be sufficiently stocked for the number of night’s stay however guests can contact Reception if they require fresh towels or additions to the tea tray.
At check-in guests will be given a disposable information sheet and breakfast sheet to complete the night before. Breakfast will be full table service with no buffet. Tables will be 2m apart and will be laid shortly before the Dinner reservation time.
Guest rooms will be vacant for as long as possible in between guests.
All of our staff have participated in COVID-19 safety and social distancing training.
All of our staff will be tested with a thermometer temperature gun each day.
Where appropriate we are grouping staff into ‘work bubbles’, which will restrict employee interaction.
Staff and guests will have different entrances to the hotel.
Dining (Restaurants and Bars)
For Summer 2020, we have created a Beer Garden outside the Function Room. This area will be partly covered and orders will be taken from the outdoor Bar and paid for at point of sale. In inclement weather, the Function Room will be used and tables will be 2 meters apart.
In our Beer Garden, we will be using disposable paper menus instead of reusable ones. There will be recycling bins dotted around where you will be able to put your paper menus. These will then all be recycled.
In the restaurant/Function Room, each cruet set will be sanitised before each use.
On busy days, we will be using our Function Room for Breakfast and Evening meals to allow for a 2 meter distance. We request that guests remain seated at the table whilst indoors.
